People panic when they first start a gluten-free diet. The market and demand for gluten-free foods has exploded, whether by necessity (celiac disease) or by choice (weight loss). With increased awareness and new product introduction comes a lot of confusion. This talk will help you help your client navigate the gluten-free diet world. Dr. Pillow will give a basic overview of gluten intolerance, and then offer gluten-free food choices and menu ideas to simplify the process. There will be a sampling of gluten-free products available at Market Street and a Q&A session. The lecture will end with a store tour.
